If you struggle putting together outfits for work--this post is for you! This is a step-by-step guide on how to create a workwear capsule wardrobe. These are affordable, staple pieces that can be styled year-round and are quality enough to last you for years.
What is a capsule wardrobe?
A capsule wardrobe is a variety of wardrobe staples that that are easy to mix and match to create endless outfit options.
I personally like to work with a color pallet of neutrals--they're the most versatile and easiest to mix and match, which means more outfit options. Also, elevated neutral basics just give you that 'effortlessly chic' style.
Why build a capsule wardrobe?
Saves you time: It's so easy to pick out outfits when you have a capsule wardrobe. Mixing and matching is effortless and you know the pieces you own all go together.
Simplifies your closet: say 'hello' to a minimalist closet! There's no need for clutter when you can easily mix and match the pieces you have--it's easy to do more with less!
Saves you money: When you have quality basics that you love and feel confident in, you will no longer feel the urge to overspend on pieces you don't need...because you'll already have all of the basics you need!

Top checklist: a satin cami and bodysuit for layering, neutral top (with a fun statement sleeve for a touch of flare), and a classic button down.
What I recommend is getting quality basics in neutral colors. For example, white, nude, and black are endlessly versatile.

In my opinion, this is the most important part of your workwear wardrobe. You can easily rotate between capsule wardrobe and statement tops--but you need some good classic workwear pants.
I cannot rave about these pants enough. The Body Contour collection has the perfect amount of suction, sculpting, and stretch. They are so comfortable, hug your curves, and are comfortable enough to wear all day.
