You know that feeling of trying to get ready, hating everything you put on, and then stressing because you have a closet full of clothes and “nothing to wear”?
Okay, well I know why that is AND how to fix your problem so you never have to have that feeling again! The answer? Building a capsule wardrobe!
The reason why you find yourself in that conundrum is because you don’t have elevated basics you love.
The purpose of a capsule wardrobe is to build your closet to have basics that you love that can be styled many different ways for many different occasions.
Building a capsule wardrobe seriously changed my life. I spend WAY less money on clothes, can wear the same pieces I love for multiple occasions in many different ways, and I never stress about what to wear.
If you build a capsule wardrobe, you'll have a more minimalistic closet, endless outfit combinations that work & love everything you own
What is a capsule wardrobe?
A capsule wardrobe is a variety of wardrobe staples that can be mixed and matched to create tons of outfit ideas!
I personally like to work with a color pallet of neutrals--I find it's easier to style neutrals a variety of ways than it is other color pallets. Which gives me more outfit options.
I created this blog post to help you create a capsule wardrobe of your own. I've included basics that I love (primary all ones that are under $50!) that can be worn and styled to create endless outfit combinations!
You can find the tops, bottoms, shoes & accessories that I share here linked on my Like To Know It. You can get directly to my LTK by clicking here!
Tops
What I recommend is getting quality basics in neutral colors. For example, white, nude, and black are endlessly versatile.
All of the tops I'm sharing are from Amazon or Abercrombie. I love Abercrombie for their quality--seriously, the stuff is amazing. Amazon can be hit or miss with quality, but all of the Amazon pieces I'm sharing are ones that I have and LOVE!

Bottoms
You don't need a ton of bottoms for your spring/summer wardrobe: just a few quality basics that can be dressed up or down. For me, that's mom jeans, white jeans, jean shorts, and causal shorts!
I cannot sing the praises of the ones I included in here enough--the quality is amazing AND they're curvy girl friendly! :-)

Dresses & Jumpsuits
Like I said before, Amazon sometimes amazes me with the quality of their pieces for the price! All of the dress options under $50 are from Amazon and are so versatile--they can be styled up with heels, down with sneakers and a baseball hat, or casual with a belt and sandals!

Shoes
All of these shoes are SO. CUTE. and reasonably priced! I included 'dupes' for the ones over $50 as well as the 'real' ones--so that you could find a style you love, whatever your budget may be!

Accessories
Accessorizing is the simplest way to elevate a look--whether it's jewelry, cute sunglasses, or a designed dupe bag--these should help you to create versatility in your wardrobe! All of these are super affordable from Amazon!
